It was working fine about a month https://kb.globalscape.com/KnowledgebaseArticle10142.aspx ago. Now I am seeing this error frequently (once every a few seconds to once every few minutes).- The server is behind a firewall and uses passive mode.- These are large data files.- The connection is 100 Mbps and the transfer rate ranges from 100KB to 5 MB. Higher speed appears https://forum.filezilla-project.org/viewtopic.php?t=34156 to suffer from more frequent disconnect.Below is the log. transfer Technote (troubleshooting) Problem(Abstract) This document provides http://www.ibm.com/support/docview.wss?uid=nas8N1013877 a common cause for receiving FTP426 error, when attempting a transfer of a file. Resolving the problem When attempting a transfer of a file, the data connection fails with FTP426. A file transfer (FTP) between two i5 systems can sometimes fail with the following error: 426 Cannot ftp error read from member &1 in file &2 in library &3. One of the common causes for this type of error is the file being an externally described file, or possibly an SQL table. To resolve this issue, there are three possible solutions: 1) Pre-create the file on ftp error codes the target system before transferring the file to the target system 2) Save the file into a savefile object, and FTP the savefile to the target system (be sure to pre-create the savefile on the target as well). After the savefile has been transferred, restore the file. 3) Copy the file into the IFS by issuing the CPYTOIMPF command. Use FTP to transfer the file from the IFS directory to the target system's IFS, and issue the CPYFRMIMPF command to create the file in the target system's library system.
