The Water Cooler Topic SOLVED FTP Permission Problem Last Post Search Topic SOLVED FTP Permission Problem Posted 10 years 1 month ago Ok, I'm not sure what I did, but all I want to do is delete the PhotoGallery2 folder (with simpleviewer2 in it). I'm on a Mac and use the FTP program Transmit and have never had any problems. I don't think it's Transmit anyway, but everytime I try to delete either the "simpleviewer2" or the "PhotoGallery2" folder I get this message: Could not change directory to "simpleviewer2". Server said: Can't change directory to /PhotoGallery2/simpleviewer2: Permission denied Error -125: remote chdir failed or Could not delete "PhotoGallery2". Server said: Can't remove directory: Directory not empty Error -126: remote rmdir failed http://superuser.com/questions/379301/unix-directory-not-empty-error-126-remote-rmdir-failed I have my main directory with PhotoGallery2 > then simpleviewer as a subdirectory. I need help to delete the entire PhotoGallery2 folder (with simpleviewer2 in it). I have attached screenshots and shots of the permissions. Hope that wasn't too confusing. Where does it go? Ftp it to root of your domain and then point url to it, once done you'll know what to do otherwise post back. VirtueShop #19123 Re: SOLVED FTP Permission Problem Posted 10 years 1 month ago Thanks Peter. It worked! Man, that was annoying. I wonder why changing permission through my FTP program would not do it. I had to change it using the WebAdmin script you gave. But it worked. I've created a brand new menu, determined https://www.apfeltalk.de/community/threads/kann-per-ftp-nichts-loeschen.46239/ that it should be my theme's standard menu, I've created a logo with the exact pixel counts suggested, and still no luck. I'm having other layout issues as ftp error well, and I wonder if there were problems introduced from during migration to Enfold theme? Any help much appreciated. How do I know if there is an update -- the enfold theme update wasn't listed in my admin dashboard. I guess the auto-update notifications don't work with enfold? Just FYI, the FTP update method failed for me. When I tried to overwrite the old enfold theme folder with the new one, my FTP client gave me the following error message: Could not delete "background-images". Server said: Can't remove directory: Directory not empty Error -126: remote rmdir failed I eventually tried deleting the older theme within WP admin, and uploading a zip of the new theme from the WP a

.:: MILE ::.
