Uploading and Downloading suddenly stopped working Started by BigDad , Oct 08 2007 03:34 PM This topic has been archived. That is, until Saturday night - when all of the sudden, I am unable to upload or download anything. Drag and drop doesn't work, the buttons don't work, and I get no error messages. I was planning on buying a key when my trial was over, but I don't want to purchase one and then not be able to transfer files. I am still able to delete a file from the server. Any ideas? Just a little info on my system - I'm running XP SP2, with a Pentium 4 processor and 2.5 GB of RAM. Thanks for the help! Edited by BigDad, 08 October 2007 - 03:41 PM. This discussion is locked rahmetli Level 1 (0 points) Q: Cannot upload any files using FTP Hello,I was using Tiger, yesterday I upgraded it to Snow Leopard. After having SL, I completed my website and wanted to upload it to server. I can connect to the server and read the files, also can manage (delete, download) files. BUT I cannot upload any files to server. It is just waiting and waiting, then giving Time Out error. I tried TransMit, CyberDuck, Fetch FTP programs but they all gave the same result. Should I change some settings on Snow Leopard or what? By the way, the problem is not on the server, my friend is able to upload files to server.Waiting for help, Thanks,Emin. iMac intel 2.16, Mac OS X (10.6.1) Posted on Nov 8, 2009 2:47 PM I have this question too Close Q: Cannot upload any files using FTP All replies Helpful answers by Tim Haigh, Tim Haigh Nov 9, 2009 6:43 AM in response to rahmetli Level 7 (24,185 points) Nov 9, 2009 6:43 AM in response to rahmetli do you have software such as little snitch installed? What to the respective log files of the ftp clients say when it fails to upload?
