Also, you might try adding the following to your mod_tls configuration: TLSRenegotiate none Logged indigochan New user Posts: 4 Re: 451 Transfer aborted - Broken pipe error « Reply #2 on: June 02, 2014, 06:27:41 pm » Hello,Thank you for the reply. Our proftp install doesn't contain the module mod_tls. Default compiled version was installed. Does there would be any other or parameters that we can put in the existing proftpd.conf that might resolve this issue? please help. Configure backup to go to file (USB HDD). Run full backup. Put USB drive in FTP ftp error server and copy files over to user's FTP home directory. Modify configuration on client to use FTP. Choose 'Test Connection' and receive: FTP Error 451 Local Error in Processing ------------------------------------------------------------ I had tried this multiple times during test of duplicati - in an instance where the first full backup is to large to tranfer over the internet, complete a file backup physically on the machine, transfer these files to the ftp error 451 FTP server and then modify the configuration to start incremental backups to this store. This has worked on all the tests I have run until now. Only problem is the first full backup comes in at over 100GB. duplicati has made 6016 files in the FTP directory (3004 of duplicati-full-content..vol.zip.aes) for this first backup. The FTP server is running Debian and with the large amount of files, copying and moving requires work arounds using find and cpio due to the limits of command arguments that can be passed to a Linux command ( http://www.moundalexis.com/archives/000035.php ). However, once all of the files have been moved to the correct directory and permissions set correctly, I am able to use FileZilla on the client machine and download any of the arhive files. Once I try to configure duplicati for the FTP server with the FTP details for the user where I just copied all of the backup zip.aes to, it errors out with 451 Local Error in Processing. Here is running the BackendTester - it does look like the FTP.List function is where the issue starting from: C:\Program Files\Duplicati>Duplicati.CommandLine.BackendTester.exe ftp://username:password@ftp.ourftpdomain.com:5690/ Starting run no 0 Unhandled Exception: System.Net.WebException: The remote server returned an erro r: (451) Local error in processing. at System.Net.FtpWebRequest.SyncReques
