Hi, I am trying to get a php slideshow script to run and I cant get it to work. I am confused on this vps account as to what my ftp web root dir. I have the ftp error ftp_web_root script working on a shared server account because the ftp web root dir is public_html. I think my problem is I am not entering the right ftp web root dir. I have tried all combos of the following and I cant get it to work. The script is located in the /mls-slideshows/ dir here: /var/www/vhosts/mypanamacitymls/mls-slideshows/ The script asks for: // ftp web root directory (httpdocs, wwwroot, webroot etc.) // this is the directory that your website is located in on your FTP login. // (no slashes needed) $ftp_web_root = "/var/www/vhosts/mypanamacitymls/"; A good link to the page where it should be working is http://www.mypanamacitymls.com/mls-s...y=vestavia-215 Please advise and thank you for your time and attention. I right click on a file in a directory in my website, and select "Copy URL." I get an error message that says, "Before you can use this feature, add the FTP site to the favorites and configure the "General -> URL" settings of the favorite item. Okay, so I add my site to Favorites. I right-click on my site and choose "Properties." Under URL mapping I see two boxes. Under "HTTP URL" I enter the URL of my site, let's say, "http://mysite.com." Under "FTP URL" I've tried entering various addresses, but none seem to work. I still can't copy the HTTP URL of the file. Here are the various FTP addresses I've entered: ftp://mysite.com/mysite.commysite.com/home/username/I wish there was something on the SmartFTP site to show how to use this. Nothing I've tried works. Help! And thanks in advance Back to top #2 eyebex eyebex Licensed User 1860 posts Gender:Male Posted 10 July 2006 - 06:23 AM Once you understand how it works (or think about it, there's only one way it can work), it's easy :-)Suppose your top-level index file is accessible via a web-browser at:http://www.mysite.com/index.htmlNow locate the same index.html file when connecting via FTP. We're not interested in the FTP URL to that file, but the "shell path" to that file. So if you see something like this in your remote tree view ftp.mysite.com | +-home
