Connect USB cable to computer; leave the other end alone3. Press and hold the Home button down and connect the docking end of cable to iPad4. Continue holding the Home button until you see the "Connect To iTune" screen5. Release the Home button6. Open iTune7. You should see "iTunes has detected an iPad in recovery mode"8. So i was using my ipod fine, http://www.ifans.com/forums/threads/error-code-1621.85060/ then the battery lost all of it's charge so i plugged it in, but when i did my ipod restarted, fine right? well it's been stuck on the apple logo. I've tried to restart it AND restore it countless times. it showed up on my PC as just "iPod" with only the summary tab availible.
