When i update or restore iPod then i received a message "Firmware update failure. I didn't find a solution on this page (http://docs.info.apple.com/article.html?artnum=301267).What heppened: I connected it on another laptop because I wanted to reset it and synchronized with a differend iTune. Everithing was OK - it erase it but when I restarted my PC I wasn't able to access it. So I tried to restore its firmware but I had this error. I tried the same thing on the other PC (where the iPod worked) without success. The same result I had and with my laptop on the work - so 3 copleately different PCs - the same story. FYI: It was formated as a key memory at the same time as a MP3 player, so now I can see Removable Disk in the Windows explorer but the is nothing inside.Please HELP! Do I have to throw it away? Reset the IPod thrice and then connect it to the computer/Laptop.2. Then Format the Removable drive in "My computer" to FAT 32 type.3. Then try restoring the IPod Using IPod Updater.4. Try the same steps in all the USB ports if it fails and then try in a different computer..5. If possible use another shuffle and try the sane steps..6.
