23, 2014 12:39 AM Points: 18, Visits: 98 Well I found my answer :)As "code.matrixcellvalue" is a custom It needs to add the following script to the Report Property -> codePublic Function MatrixCellValue(ByVal sumValue As Object, ByVal avgValue As Object, ByVal InScope As Boolean, ByVal sumFormat As String, ByVal avgFormat As String) As Object If InScope Then Return sumValue Else If Not avgValue Is Nothing Then Return String.Format(sumFormat, CDbl(sumValue)) + vbCrLf + String.Format(avgFormat, CDbl(avgValue)) Else Return Nothing End If End IfEnd Function Post #1202574 « Prev Topic | Next Topic » Permissions You cannot post new topics. My Forums Asked by: Getting Name 'Lookup' is not declared error in SSRS 2008R2 SQL Server > SQL Server Reporting Services, Power View Question 0 Sign in to vote My requirement is, I have to show the fields on the report from different databases (Oracle, SQL2005 and DB2). http://www.sqlservercentral.com/Forums/Topic1202573-1063-1.aspx I created one dataset for each data source. All the sources have a link field to join. When I try to use the Lookup function in the Expression editor I’m getting “[BC30451] Name Lookup is not declared” error. I'm using SQL Server 2008R2 reporting services. Any suggestions https://social.msdn.microsoft.com/Forums/sqlserver/en-US/da90526e-f284-4133-bda9-157b9bbf2212/getting-name-lookup-is-not-declared-error-in-ssrs-2008r2?forum=sqlreportingservices Wednesday, November 03, 2010 6:36 AM Reply | Quote All replies 0 Sign in to vote Hi Manoj23k, Could you please elaborate a bit more about that where the Lookup function is using? By design, the Lookup can be only used in data regions. If using it in a dataset filter, in a parameter, it will fail. Additionally, the expression must be in this syntax: =Lookup(Fields!SaleProdId.Value, Fields!ProductID.Value, Fields!Name.Value, "Product") For more information about Lookup function, please see in the following article: Lookup Function (Report Builder 3.0 and SSRS): http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/ee210531.aspx If you have any more questions, please feel free to ask. Our report server is is not running on Win 2008 Ent R2 with service packs with SQL Server 2008 R2 with service packs. Our sql folks installed SSRS. After configuring it, the URL pages appear fine. On the report manager url page we have the reports manager headings, but nothing appears in the area below heading. My is not declared understanding is that the reports should be displayed. When we checked the sms directories on the sql server the items (sorry for inproper terms) show all the folders with .rdl files. Also, our SCCM central site would keep reporting that report server services is not running on our report server. It is running evry time we checked. several times we even restarted to see a change, but not. We believe we may have two issues. one sccm and one the reports not showing up in the report manger url. We are asking for assistance with later. SSRS has been removed and reinstalled once by the SQL folks with same results.Michael Pace Client Services Team Allegis Group, Inc.
