Many SME's and businesses are likely to be able to host their files on their own web server, but for individuals, charities and those without this facility, Facebook and Heroku have teamed up to provide a free cloud hosting option. This is outside the scope of this article, but to find out more about Heroku, check out their website (www.heroku.com).By signing up without hosting we're assuming we have the capacity to develop a single page elsewhere on the internet. Store it in a safe place on your server, and keep the URL as we'll need it later down this page.Since October 1st 2011, Facebook has required secure hosting of apps for those users choosing to browse in secure (https://) mode. As such, it's necessary for businesses to ensure their server is capable of providing this. Recently I managed to purchase a SSL certificate for under £10 for a year, and implemented it in approximately 30 minutes, so this is not out of reach of most businesses.Step 2. I have done my first album and published to my own site. I have also included the social links so viewers can share a picture directly to Facebook by entering their login and password. What I find is that the picture that they want to share is not is not being displayed on their Facebook page but does show the correct picture when the picture is clicked to view. Basically another picture is being displayed within Facebook and not the picture selected. Has anyone else come across the same problem with an incorrect picture being displayed ? Can anyone help in solving my problem or am I doing something wrong? I am using the Turtle skin. Many thanks for any help. Kind regards Anthony. Can you provide a link for some one to check, say to the photo in the album and to the Facebook location? ajhunt Posts: 5 Registered: 03/17/14 Re: Sharing To Social Sites Posted: 24-Apr-2014 22:31 in response to: RobM Reply Hi Rob, firstly thank you for trying to help with this. An example being a dummy page at http://www.easyboothderby.co.uk/JAlbum2 Just go to the page and select an image and then select the Facebook icon. See that the picture you select is not the picture on Facebook - but when the picture is clicked then it does show the correct picture.
