Contents 1 Overview 2 Standard Error Codes 3 Customized Error Codes 1 Overview You can see error codes when issues occur with your LDAP connection. An error code is associated with each type of microsoft ldap error codes issue. 2 Standard Error Codes Error / Data Code Error Description 0 LDAP_SUCCESS Indicates the requested client operation completed successfully. 1 LDAP_OPERATIONS_ERROR Indicates an internal error. The server is unable to respond with a more specific error and is also unable to properly respond to a request. It does not indicate that the client has sent an erroneous message. In NDS 8.3x through NDS 7.xx, this was the default error for NDS errors that did not map to an LDAP error code. To conform to the new LDAP drafts, NDS 8.5 uses 80 (0x50) for such errors. 2 LDAP_PROTOCOL_ERROR Indicates that the server has received an invalid or malformed request from the client. 3 LDAP_TIMELIMIT_EXCEEDED Indicates that the operation's time limit specified by either the client or the server has been exceeded. On search operations, incomplete results are returned. 4 LDAP_SIZELIMIT_EXCEEDED Indicates that in a search operation, the size limit specified by the client or the server has been exceeded. I'm binding as admin on my LDAPs server and I'm getting the following Error Message: LDAP: Error 50 - Insufficient Access Rights I'm binding as admin and I'm able to perform any query or any changes like creating a new entry, modifying an existing one, etc. I http://stackoverflow.com/questions/30404788/error-50-insufficient-access-rights-when-applying-ldif-openldap don't know what else to do since I'm already binding as admin. Besides, I even built a brand new LDAP server only to test this and I'm unable to apply any LDIF files as well.
