Following Follow Microsoft Exchange I having problems getting ExMerge to run. I restored my backup file, and when I run ExMerge, I select two-step method, select the first step, select my options, then select my Recovery Storage Group Mailbox and when I click next ldap error I get this error. An error was encountered retrieving a list of Mailboxes homed on the selected database. See the ExMerge.Log for more information. When I open the log file I see this error. Error 8007203a opening an LDAP connection. ('LDAP://CCEXCH01/rootDSE') (CADRoutines::GetNamingContextData) When I look up the SrcServerLDAP-Port in the ini section of the documentation file it says this: You should use this ldap error exmerge entry only if the directory is configured to use a different port. This is generally the case if you have installed Exchange Server 5.x on a Windows 2000 or Windows Server 2003 domain controller. In this case, it is likely that you need to configure the Exchange Directory to listen for LDAP queries on a port other than the default of 389. If I select the First Storage Group's Mailbox I get a list of Mailboxes. What do I need to change? I new to managing the exchange server and I can't find anything on how to fix this. Thank you.
