It is possible that the problem is in the camera, that the cable connector of the card reader is not making proper connection. It is also possible that the card reader itself not making proper contact with the card. One of the tings that you can do is to take a pencil eraser and rub it on the gold contacts on the memory stick. Do this until you get all the gold contacts nice and clean. Put the stick in the camera, switch to 'Setup', then turn the camera on. The 'C:13:01' error should automatically disappear. Format the memory stick using the camera's format feature.There are a few more tricks listed right here. Hope this helps, good luck. Was this answer helpful? Make sure you are using compatible media. Even though the media you are using may fit, it may not necessarily be supported with your camera. For example, memory stick error SD, SDHC, and SDXC media cards are the same size, however, each one is made up of a different memory capacity and format. Older cameras that use a standard SD card may not support the higher capacity SDHC and SDXC cards. The same thing is true for Memory Stick Duo and Memory Stick PRO Duo. Although Memory Stick Duo and Memory Stick PRO Duo are the same size, older cameras that use Memory Stick Duo may not support the higher capacity Memory Stick PRO Duo. So, double-check that sure you are using the correct media for your camera. IMPORTANT: For model-specific information, refer to the camera operating instructions. NOTES: SD cards have a capacity up to 2GB. SDHC cards have a capacity between 4GB and 32GB. SDXC cards have a capacity between 32GB and 2TB. Memory Stick Duo has a capacity up to 128MB.
