.NET dotnet Framework ibm.wmq.mqexception exception unhandled runtime http://www-01.ibm.com/support/docview.wss?uid=swg21292791 error event id 5000 clr20r3 Technote (troubleshooting) Problem(Abstract) You receive a ".NET Runtime 2.0 Error" while running your .NET WebSphere MQ (WMQ) Client application. Symptom You may also find an Event 5000 from source ".NET Runtime 2.0 Error" with event type 'clr20r3' in the Windows Application Event net runtime Log. Cause This is caused by an unhandled exception in your application code. The .NET Framework 2.0+ does not permit unhandled exceptions and if one is thrown, the framework will stop the worker process (w3wp.exe). The actual unhandled exception may or may not be an MQ exception (ibm.wmq.mqexception). net runtime 2.0 Resolving the problem Modify your application source code to handle (catch) all exceptions. You might also be able to enable your application to write the exception stack trace to the Windows Application Event Log. For information on doing this and, as an alternative, how to change the unhandled exception policy back to how it was for .NET Framework 1.1 see: . Unhandled exceptions cause ASP.NET-based applications to unexpectedly quit in the .NET Framework 2.0 Additional Information Example event log entry: Historical Number 41840 344 000 Product Alias/Synonym MQSeries WebSphere MQ Document information More support for: WebSphere MQ .NET Software version: 6.0, 7.0, 7.0.1, 7.1, 7.5 Operating system(s): Windows Reference #: 1292791 Modified date: 14 December 2012 Site availability Site assistance Contact and feedback Need support?
