] Sol 8, http://mailman.eng.auburn.edu/pipermail/veritas-bu/2003-June/017789.html NB v4.5 MP4 SSO with four media servers. https://support.symantec.com/en_US/article.TECH147357.html I've been getting error 134's. Here's the description from bperror: # bperror -S 134 -r unable to process request because the server resources are busy Status code 134 is an informational netbackup error message indicating that all drives in the storage unit are currently in use. If this occurs, NetBackup automatically tries another storage unit; if one is not available, NetBackup requeues the job with a status of 134 and retries it netbackup error 134 later. Disable automatic retry using another storage unit and create the following file on the NetBackup media server prior to running the backups: /usr/openv/volmgr/DISABLE_RESOURCES_BUSYIf you have already attempted the backup and see this error, then create the file and rerun the backups. OK - here's the question. Why is the job running at all if the storage unit's drives are not available? In a non-SSO environment, the job will simply queue if the drives are busy. Why is this job even going active? -M Previous message: [Veritas-bu] Patches Next message: [Veritas-bu] Error 134 Messages sorted by: [ date ] [ thread ] [ subject ] [ author ] More information about the Veritas-bu mailing list
