I setup the same policy again yesterday and last night the backup received the same STATUS CODE 200. I have done numerous clients and they have run without issue. I read the the technote below this seems to not apply to our situation A client backup receives a Status 200 message "scheduler found no backups due to run" when multiple backups of the same type are scheduled on the same day, for the same policy, with calendar-based scheduling. We have VMWAre backup policies configured as per the VMWare cluster and if a cluster does not have any VM's to backup , the policy fails with error 200 which is normal . My https://vox.veritas.com/t5/NetBackup/Error-200-Netbackup-VMWare/td-p/641411 question is -> Is there way that we can tweak netbackup so it does not display such messages as errors as it is not a real error. thanks for your help, Labels: 7.5 Backing Up Backup and Recovery Error messages NetBackup 1 Kudo Reply 1 Reply though that is not real RamNagalla Moderator Partner Trusted Advisor Certified 09-16-2013 09:58 AM Options Mark as New Bookmark Subscribe Subscribe to RSS Feed Highlight Print Email to a Friend Report Inappropriate Content though that is not real error when there is no VMs in the cluster, but it possibly a error when there are VMs in the cluster and netbackup is not able to Query those VMs due to some reasons... and it is very much possible there are VMs in the cluster and netbackup reports EC 200 becuase of some issue which needs to get addressed. so tehnically this is the error... and it needs to get reported.... and unfortunaly there is no way to stop reporting other than below 2 1) i would suggest you to deactivate the policy if you are sure that the cluster does not have any active VMs, 2 ) and if you dont what to deactive, just keep one test VM on it which is small in size get it backup untill you actaully get the requrired VMs into it. 0 Kudos Reply Contact Privacy Policy Terms & Conditions

I get the web login form on port 5000. But the old admin password and account netbackup error 200 is NOT recognized obviously.I get the message "You are not authorized to use this service".I tried with both admin and root accounts - which were the only ones i used previously (understand that i'd never use root for the gui login, only for ssh).Another thing is that SSH login is not working after this upgrade - it seems that SSHD is not running, also TELNET is disabled. So i have a unit, which is running the latest firmware, but cannot be accessed but via SAMBA (my shares are still available) via windows explorer. The last comment to this, is that I downloaded the Synology Assistant along with the firmware .pat file, but i doesnt find my unit, eventhough my pc and it are on the same network and switch even - also it doesnt spot my DS210j which has been running for months on the same network. What a lame experience from an upgrade... -please can anyone give me an idea on how to get around this?
