Close Sign In Print Article Products Article Languages Subscribe to this Article Manage your Subscriptions Problem Problem occurs when a NetBackup restore job is initiated in the Backup, Archive, and Restore (BAR) application. Error Message A pop-up window appears with the following error: Error : restore not initiated: invalid request (133) Cause The issue occurs because the client is not authorized (allowed) to perform a restore. Solution In order to allow a NetBackup client to perform restores from the BAR application, we need to add the client's name under the master server properties and grant it the permission to allow restores. Please follow steps below : 1. Launch the NetBackup Administration Console2. Expand Host Properties and click on Master server3. Right-click on the master server name in the right pane and select Properties4. Select Clien
