aborted Solutions This error occurs when Norton Anti-Virus script blocking is enabled. To resolve this problem, please perform the following steps: Option 1 In Norton Anti-Virus, click Options, then select Script Blocking Clear Enable Script Blocking, then close the dialog box. Option 2 Update Norton Anti-Virus by running the Live Update to download and install the latest updates. Option 3 You can also manually deactivate the OfficeAV.dll (The LiveUpdate should do this for you). Please follow the steps below to deactivate the Norton AntiVirus plug-in: Please make sure all of your applications are closed before starting these steps. Go to the Start menu. Then choose Run and type the following: regsvr32 /u "c:\program files\norton antivirus\officeav.dll" Then click OK. If the command is successful, you will see the message "DllUnregisterServer in C:Program Files\Norton AntiVirus\OfficeAV.dll succeeded." If the command is unsuccessful, search your hard drive for the file OfficeAV.dll. Then after finding the file on your hard drive you will need to write down the path where it is located. Then you will need to fill in the path in the command above. Follow step #3 with the new location. If using Norton Antivirus 2003: In Norton Anti-Virus, click on Option. Click on Miscellaneous. Previous page Next page Print version Why are Images or OLE Object not Printing from AutoCAD? This is typically caused by the Raster Image and OLE Settings on the AcroPlot AutoCAD Options Tab. We set the defaults to what normally works to create the smallest size files without loosing data. Unfortunately sometimes you will have to increase our default settings. What is happening behind the scenes is that at lower quality AutoCAD itself completely drops out sending the data to us for some reason. It's nothing on our end and can be reproduced going to different plotters also at the same settings. I guess that is why Autodesk put those settings in there to begin with. Also the newer versions need these settings set higher than older versions. So if you are using AutoCAD 2008 and the setting worked fine there but you upgrade to 2012 you may need to increase those two settings. We don't know why this is but it we have had to increase the defaults a couple times over the last 10 years due to their new releases. Also, as far as images, it tends to drop out monochrome images before color ones. Again, not sure why but that is what we have seen in the past.
