betw host & guest in Wsta 9.0.2 wth guest Ubuntu 13.04 JSen Jul 2, 2013 12:22 PM (in response to bostjanv) We at VMware are already aware of this issue about Shared Folders not working for Workstation 9.0.2 in a Ubuntu 13.04 Guest. The engineering team is working on fixing this issue for future maintenance update. Meanwhile, can you try mounting the shared folders manually in the VM?sudo apt-get install open-vm-toolssudo cannot access input/output error mount -t vmhgfs .host:/ /mnt/hgfs Like Show 0 Likes (0) Actions 2. Question: do I have to uninstall the original VMware tools installation?Regards, bostjanvMessage was edited by: bostjanv Like Show 0 Likes (0) Actions 3. Using Open VMware Tools in this case while it would allow the VMware Shared Folders feature to work you'd need to manually mount the H
