The code im using to read analog data is shown below. Im using PCF8591 ADC converter. from smbus import SMBus bus = SMBus(0) print "read a/d press ctrl + c to stop" bus.write_byte(0x48, 0) lastval = -1 while True: reada = bus.read_byte(0x48) if(abs(lastval-reada) > 2):

print(reada) lastval=reada I understand it might be because of the version changed in raspberry pi and i should change SMBus(0) to SMBus(1). For this i checked my RPi version which is not the revised one. But still I tried to run the program by changing the SMBus number, still no luck with it. The error I get is shown below: Traceback (most recent call last): File "analogread.py", line 7, in

But if you are seeing the error message, its complaining about writing to the primary data file, which seems pretty serious.>>The data read and writes fineHow did you determined this? Are you able https://social.msdn.microsoft.com/Forums/sqlserver/en-US/7af993a1-47f1-43bf-b363-f5c3330ea55e/io-error-5access-is-denied?forum=sqldatabaseengine to write data to a table in the primary data file?| Sankar Reddy | http://sankarreddy.spaces.live.com/ | Saturday, May 02, 2009 11:07 AM Reply | Quote Moderator 0 Sign in to vote Is the file quoted a primary data file?Sure it has the MDF extension...but?If it is a separate filegroup that holds a particular NC index, that might explain why he is able to read and write data otherwise. But hey, I am way way way out on a limb here with the guesswork!Looking forward to Suman's reply.Paul Sunday, May 03, 2009 8:56 AM Reply | Quote 0 Sign in to vote I dont see any other errors with data read and write. this is the primary data file and I get this error often written to the error log. I dont know if something is happening from the disk side(read failures/ write failure), but apparently there are none. This is the only error I am worried about. The system is SQL Server 2000 Ent Edn SP4.Thanks.Suman Friday, May 22, 2009 8:29 AM Reply | Quote Microsoft is conducting an online survey to understand your opinion of the Msdn Web site.
