Maybe you don't have privileges to overwright some files. We should examine the complete log. It can contain more details. In the log window (Cmd-L) click the Log History button to get to the folder with logs. Please send the log related to that synchronization session to support@belightsoft.com and add the link to this topic.Nick Top sjtryon New member Posts: 9 Joined: November 27th, 2010, 4:58 pm Contact: Contact sjtryon Website Quote Postby sjtryon » December 5th, 2010, 9:07 am I started from scratch and tried again. Simple task: One way sync between two folders that ALREADY contained the same files. I had copied them within the finder prior to creating and running this sync. In this situation, while there are many files (>300,000), there would be nothing to sync as they were all up to date. The counting of files process took about 3 minutes, but then it sat there blinking my drive lights for

I'm trying to mount a network drive and for years this command has always worked: mount -t cifs //server/share /mnt --verbose -o user=username this command is taken straight out of the f18 cifs manual. But all I get is: mount error(5): Input/output error I've also tried mount.cifs //server/share /mnt --verbose -o user=username bit I still get the error. I've disabled selinux and disabled the firewall but no joy. This error message is useless because it tells nothing. I've been trawling google for hours. I actually run several linux machines here and all the machines mount the said network location fine with the commands I've shown It's worth mentioning that this F18 install is running in vmware, but I've run several Fedora versions in vmware and this is the first time it's given me this problem.
