But I have experienced "Input/output error": $ rm pic -R rm: cannot remove `pic/60.jpg': Input/output error rm: cannot remove `pic/006.jpg': Input/output error rm: cannot remove `pic/008.jpg': Input/output http://unix.stackexchange.com/questions/39905/input-output-error-when-accessing-a-directory error rm: cannot remove `pic/011.jpg': Input/output error $ ls -la pic ls: cannot access pic/60.jpg: Input/output error -????????? ? ? ? ? ? 006.jpg -????????? ? ? ? ? ? 006.jpg -????????? ? ? ? ? ? 011.jpg I was wondering what the problem is? How can I recover or remove the directory pic and all of its content? My OS is Ubuntu 12.04, and the removable hard drive has ntfs filesystem. Other directories not containing or inside pic on the removable hard drive are working fine. Upon inspecting the headers and the source-code, it looks like the radosgw embedded webserver is returning 'Content-type' instead of 'Content-Type' (capital T). If I interpret the RFC https://www.w3.org/Protocols/rfc2616/rfc2616-sec4.html#sec4.2 right, these headers should not be interpreted case sensitive, so while not 'standard' this reply isn't wrong either, but correct me if I'm wrong :) I will see if the radosgw guys are inclined to change the response, however perhaps you'd like to change the way of checking headers too :) ggtakec added a commit to ggtakec/s3fs-fuse that referenced this issue Feb 13, 2016 ggtakec
List of issues init.d scripts refer to /etc/hadoop which no longer exists (I had to "ln -s /etc/hadoop-0.20 /etc/hadoop") *RESOLVED* Default HADOOP_NAMENODE_HEAP is 2048m but this causes an extra "m" in the java argument "2048mm". Also, the default heap for datanodes seems to be "3000". Is this reasonable? Can it be configurable? It is certainly too high for our older test stand. , Hadoop client commands are no longer in path (/usr/lib/hadoop-0.20/bin) Fuse error creating directories: $ mkdir /mnt/hadoop/test mkdir: cannot create directory `/mnt/hadoop/test': Input/output error Client warning when creating directories: ./hadoop fs -mkdir /hadoop 11/03/31 11:20:19 WARN permission.FsPermission: dfs.umask configuration key is deprecated. While this is user error, it should have at least a warning or clue in the output and it should end gracefully and not seg fault. srm-mkdir fails for accesses to bestman2. This is not a bug as much as it is a critical result of issue #4. RESOLVED lcmaps issue: Problems mapping fermilab VO. While using a fermilab proxy, lcmaps bans user and does not return a user. Grid-ftp subsequently generates a segmentation fault. Initial investigating seems to suggest that lcsmaps is dropping the VO extension and thus maps users to the wrong VO or fails to map at all. It also returns "error: an end-of-file was reached" because of the seg fault rather than "Permission denied". More... Close The mapping is wrong: 1. I have a voms-proxy from fermilab VO 2. bestman2 that is installed on the same node and is talking to the same gums returns the correct mapping: (from gums log) 31 Mar 2011 11:19:19,865 [INFO ]: GridID[/D
