inside an OpenVZ VPS, run the following commands. Make sure that the NFS module is loaded on the hardware node: [root@fractal /]#modprobe nfs [root@fractal /]#echo "modprobe nfs" >> /etc/rc.local Then, to enable NFS support on the VPS container: [root@fractal /]#vzctl set VEID --features "nfs:on" --save [root@fractal /]#vzctl restart VEID You should now be able to mount an NFS share inside this VPS. If you run into issues with the mount hanging or erroring with a "mount.nfs: Input/Output error", make sure that the "portmap" service is running inside the VPS.
