I’ve done this at least 50 times before. The ghost program appeared to be working until it https://answers.yahoo.com/question/?qid=20080711124450AAm0mix got about 95% completed, and then it came up with a file name? (546) message saying "Output error file to the following location: a:/ghosterr.txt". If I try to do anything, I get an error message saying "Cannot output error open Ghosterr.text - insert diskette (434). Neither of the boot disks helps the problem.I rebooted and the computer is going through some process of deleting and recovering orphaned files. This has happened before, and a total re-install had to be finally performed. If so, this would generate an error whilst attempting to write to the disk. Does ghosterr.txt exist on the floppy? If so, can you open it please and copy & paste its contents. It will give us more of an idea what's going on. We can never get at the root of the problem. Norton will not respend unless you pay their fee. Extortion!The only thing that has happened since my last ghost is the addition of some programs. The programs I'm referring to are added to a computer that never goes on the net. No access. It's used for recording music only. I remembered something being stated, to the issue that Ghost needs room on the "source" drive to prepare the "image" for the "destination drive". Having only 9GB left I've deleted some junk and got my Free Space up to 23.5GB. I'm performing a "Scan Disk
