Right now it sounds like you have the red, green, and blue ports on the DVD player connected to the yellow, red and white port on the TV. It also can be a HDMI issue. Either something is wrong with your connection or the cable itself. Hello Customer, Thank you for asking your question on Just Answer. The U70-2 error is a HDMI error that indicates the cables are to long. Keeping them to less that 15 panasonic dvd feet should keep the message from occurring. It may also help to turn the TV on first and then the DVD player. Ask Your Own General Question Customer: replied9 years ago. The HDMI cable was given to me from the place I bought my TV and DVD player. It has been two years with the same cable with no problems. Why the error message now? Are you sure if I buy a shorter cable it would keep the message form occurring. Expert: panasonic dvd error Edward replied9 years ago. This is a message that is becoming a problem with this model DVD player. I would suggest turning the TV on first and then the DVD player. See if this corrects the problem. You still may get the message sometimes. If your cable is more than 15 feet long replacing it with a shorter cable will in most cases stop the message. I cannot say 100% of the time since there still could be circuitry in the DVD player that could require replacement by a repair shop. Ask Your Own General Question Customer: replied9 years ago. I've checked my HDMI cable and it is less than 15 feet. Again it was the original cable given by the place where I purchased the DVD player and TV. Upon delivery, they connected the cables and made sure all were operable. Circuitry suddenly just goes bad after two years. And it matters which one is turned on first...I disagree. Expert: Edward replied9 years ago. This is a common problem that has started to appear on many of this model DVD players. I tried to provide you some information that might correct the problem. Of course if there are problems with the circuitry of the DVD player these may not help. I wish 100% customer satisfaction. I can see you are not pleased with my answers. Please do not accept them. I am going to opt out of this question. You may get additional responses from other Experts. Hope you find the p
