Panasonic Washing Machine Error Code H07
- Quote - Report Abuse Private Message - Add to Buddy List Replies: 2 - Views: 31623 Thousands of annoyed customers of Panasonic, Yamaha, and Denon DVD Player owners have encountered the infamous H02 / H07 /H03 erors and many others on thier players or maybe the "No disk" error even though a disk is in the drive. Well many people have spent hundreds on repair or bought a new unit. But i am panasonic dvd-rv31 h02 error here to tell you that it is okay to open up your dvd player and mess around in side. If your DVD player comes up with one of these errors the first thing you might want to try is to open up your DVD player by removing the screws on the side and the back (depending on the model), then plug the dvd player into power outlet with cover removed. Stick a disk in and press play and give the disk a little push. Most of the time the Spindle motor is dieing out when you get a H02 error. In this case that little push may get your spindle motor to rev back up back into action. And if your as succesful as me then hopefully you have just fixed your H02 error for free without doing much work. I just got a Panasonic HT95 Reciever/DVD player to play all disks again by giving the motor a little "kick start". If that doesnt work then follow this very useful guide on how to take apart the disk drive in your Panasonic/Denon/Yamaha dvd player, and apply new oil to that dying spindle motor: http://www.crestronforums.org/index.php?showtopic=3 And if anyone has ever expierced a problem with a Panasonic/Denon/Yamaha DVD player regarding one of these problems please post your story and make sure yo

And that was it, it has not work since. I've tried to get in panasonic dvd player code h07 touch or get some support from Panasonic but they won't acknowledge or admit that there may be a problem with one of panasonic dvd-s35 h02 error fix their "products". Panasonic SUCKS!! Don't buy any Panasonic products because they won't provide you with any support. But anyway, does anyone have the same problem? Has anyone found a solution to this "H07" message on the display? http://www.hardwareanalysis.com/content/topic/55214/ Let me know via e-mail. David Massey Silver MemberUsername: SamijubalPost Number: 553Registered: Jul-04 Posted on Friday, December 31, 2004 - 20:12 GMTIt probably has a bad spindle motor, Panasonic is famous for them going bad. Open it and see if the disc spins, if not give it a little turn by http://www.ecoustics.com/electronics/forum/home-video/112851.html hand, if it starts spinning the motor is defective. foreman202Unregistered guest Posted on Saturday, January 01, 2005 - 02:19 GMTPanasonic sucks they break bmccooeyUnregistered guest Posted on Wednesday, January 05, 2005 - 16:58 GMTActually, there is a fix for this. It is the spindle. Add a little oil to the spindle and let it sink in. You may want to do a little manual turn to work the oil in. You may have to remove some pieces to get at the spindle, but once you do, fixing it should be a snap. Can't guarantee how long the fix will last though. Just did this myself last night. I'll try your trick and see how it goes. I might use a Teflon based lubricant for the job. That stuff makes miracles. LamchopUnregistered guest Posted on Saturday, January 08, 2005 - 04:34 GMTMy sister just told me she got the h07 error on her panasonic r62 dvd player. How do I physically/mechanically get to the spindle? I want to try to do the oil trick this weekend. Maybe we can milk a few more months out of the system. Thanks in advance. state that this is a replacement motor for Panasonic DVD players. Prices range from $30 - $60 for the motor. Panasonic DVD Model: SAHT70 part number: RXQ0749A original is RXQ0749 Panasonic DVD Model: DVDRP62 part number: RXQ0745B original is RXQ0742B If you have another player please email me and I will see if Ican look it up. Also if you have your player open and you can see the number on the motor please let me know as well. You can by the parts here: http://www.pasc.panasonic.com/epartr/ http://www.partsolver.com I've seen tons of posts about this problem so I decided to write a quick guide to fixing the problem. This fix my not solve the problem permanently but seems to work for at least a while. Best solution would probably be to replace the motor itself with a better one. I will try to located a good replacement when I have some free time. All you need is a philips head screw driver and some oil (I used WD40 but any good oil should work). First disconnect the unit from power so you don't kill yourself. Next open the dvd player by removing the 7 screws (2 on each side and 3 on the back on my model). Gently pull of the housing. You should see something like this now (you should remove the CD/DVD before you open your machine, I forgot): Remove the two screws holding the assembly located here: Now, very carefully remove the ribbon cable. Don't put too much stress on it! Pull out the assembly slowly and remove the other connector. Do not pull on the wire. Use your finger nails to wiggle the connector out of the socket. Now remove the laser protective cover by pressing in the clips and then sliding it off If you can see the motor at this point you don't need to remove the inner part. Otherwise remove the inner section by pressing out the clips and lifting it out. Now lubricate the motor. Use only very little oil and spray away from the laser! Reassemble the inner section by setting the gear in the position shown below. Replace the tray like so. Reassemble and your done. Questions? Comments? Post them here: Crestron Forums or email me at
