Dec-04 Posted on Monday, December 13, 2004 - 09:48 GMTI bought a DVD player (RV-32) 13 months ago and while watching a movie, it froze on me then I saw the "H07" message on the display. And panasonic washing machine error code h07 that was it, it has not work since. I've tried to get in touch or panasonic dvd player error codes get some support from Panasonic but they won't acknowledge or admit that there may be a problem with one of their "products". Panasonic h07 cable SUCKS!! Don't buy any Panasonic products because they won't provide you with any support. But anyway, does anyone have the same problem? Has anyone found a solution to this "H07" message on the display? Let me know

David Massey Silver MemberUsername: SamijubalPost Number: 553Registered: Jul-04 Posted on Friday, December 31, 2004 - 20:12 GMTIt probably has a bad spindle motor, Panasonic is famous for them going bad. Open it and see if the disc spins, if not give it a little turn by hand, if it starts ho7 insurance spinning the motor is defective. foreman202Unregistered guest Posted on Saturday, January 01, 2005 - 02:19 GMTPanasonic sucks they break bmccooeyUnregistered guest Posted on Wednesday, January 05, 2005 - 16:58 GMTActually, there is a fix for this. It is the spindle. Add a little oil to the spindle and let it sink in. You may want to do a little manual turn to work the oil in. You may have to remove some pieces to get at the spindle, but once you do, fixing it should be a snap. Can't guarantee how long the fix will last though. Just did this myself last night. I'll try your trick and see how it goes. I might use a Teflon based lubricant for the job. That stuff makes miracles. LamchopUnregistered guest Posted on Saturday, January 08, 2005 - 04:34 GMTMy sister just told me she got the h07 error on her panasonic r62 dvd player. How do I physically/mechanically get to the spindle? I want to try to do the oil trick this weekend. Maybe we can milk a few more months out of the system. Thanks in advance. Search for - code, panasonic, player Thank you all for this advice - i just picked up a free video player Panasonic RV32 and very first time I turned it on, it wouldn't work. It had the H07 code straight away. http://howtomendit.com/answers.php?id=16528 I spent hours trying to muck around with cords (it came without a remote) I thought it was me. Turns out it is the RV32. It didn't help that I recently was given a free wide screen Panasonic Quintrix SR TV also without a manual to use it with. I will try a clean/WD40 lube and report back if it works for me. Excited to have options. Eleyan May 2013 hi ho7 means that the dvd player needs to go Gogegina June 2011 I read all the other posts and was ready to try them but when i opened the casing i plugged the dvd back in. It did the same thing, nothing happened and the ho7 code came up. So i opened the door one more time and then closed it, when it was trying to spin i gave the dvd a nudge and the dvd took off. I turned it off and back on to make sure it was truley fixed and it was fine. I think the gears were just stuck. So before you put lots of oil on your dvd player and run the risk of damaging it more try this. Hope it works. :) Michelle September 2010 I've done this repair twice on our CV52, first time in 2004 and just today. Both times the plastic bushing on the motor shaft has gotten itself stuck. I use the little tube of light machine oil that came with my beard trimmer to lubricate the motor shaft and free up the bushing. I also use a little di-electric grease (found in the sparkplug section of an
Jan 2011Posts: 6 Posted: Sun Jan 23, 2011 5:31 am Post subject: Panasonic RV32 and H07 I searched "Panasonic RV32 and H07" in Google and was directed to a 'tutorial' which shows how to lubricate the spindle bearing, but on the PR62 http://forum.eserviceinfo.com/viewtopic.php?p=231292 and not the RV32. Here is the URL: http://www.elektr0n.com/dwm/doku.php?id=how_to_fix_the_h07_ho7_error_on_your_panasonic_dvd_player Let me add the particulars on http://www.hardwareanalysis.com/content/topic/55214/ our machine: SN = VA21A032601 Manufactured: 09/02 I managed to remove the 4 not 2 screws holding down the drive unit, I pulled the ribbon cable and the power cable using a small hemostat, and now I am stuck. The unit does not lift out 'as advertised.' I get the impression that to get to the spindle bearing panasonic dvd I need access to the bottom of the drive unit. I then downloaded the manual and worked out how to page through it using FireFox. I see that I could quickly get into deep water regarding the optical pickup unit and static electricity. I have some ultrafine oil (my former barber sold me a bottle of clipper oil for my clippers) and fine syringes for getting oil where it is needed. I have panasonic dvd player observed that the disk mechanism turns freely, from the perspective accessible with the drive unit still in its installed orientation. Could the h07 code be from some other overheat problem. Am I chasing a will-o-the-wisp? Thanks in advance for any insights. baumgrenze Back to top vtechJoined: 08 May 2006Posts: 1261Location: USA Posted: Mon Jan 24, 2011 3:42 am Post subject: Have been out of consumer electronics for some time...I used to see this problem on a regular bases and replaced many many spindle motors on several Panasonic models that used the Exact mechanism. The HO7 error code basically indicates a spindle servo problem. meaning that it is either not turning or turning very slow--it may be anything from a binding &/or burned up motor all the way to it's driver IC. I can tell you that in my experience, depending on the amount of use on the motor, chances of "lubricating" the motor shaft was not a real success. --sooner or later you had to change the motor and in more than 85 percent of the time the driver IC had to also be replaced (surface mount BA6328 which sits on the underneath PCB). Basically the whole problem starts with the arcing spindle motor that was a weakling design to begin with (wonder why the replacement had

Well many people have spent hundreds on repair or bought a new unit. But i am here to tell you that it is okay to open up your dvd player and mess around in side. If your DVD player comes up with one of these errors the first thing you might want to try is to open up your DVD player by removing the screws on the side and the back (depending on the model), then plug the dvd player into power outlet with cover removed. Stick a disk in and press play and give the disk a little push. Most of the time the Spindle motor is dieing out when you get a H02 error. In this case that little push may get your spindle motor to rev back up back into action. And if your as succesful as me then hopefully you have just fixed your H02 error for free without doing much work. I just got a Panasonic HT95 Reciever/DVD player to play all disks again by giving the motor a little "kick start". If that doesnt work then follow this very useful guide on how to take apart the disk drive in your Panasonic/Denon/Yamaha dvd player, and apply new oil to that dying spindle motor: http://www.crestronforums.org/index.php?showtopic=3 And if anyone has ever expierced a problem with a Panasonic/Denon/Yamaha DVD player regarding one of these problems please post your story and make sure you complain to Panasonic. We shouldnt let them get away with this. I figured this out by reading a message posted by someone on this forum and i wanted to share my story and my expierence with the H02 error: http://www.howtomendit.com/answers.php?id=13096 Adam Kolak Moderator, Hardware Analysis adam@hardwareanalysis.com DFI LP P35-T2RS | Xeon Quad @ 3.2Ghz | 4GB DDR2-
