is famous for them going bad. Open it and see if the disc spins, if not give it a little turn by hand, if it starts spinning the motor is defective. foreman202Unregistered guest Posted on Saturday, January 01, 2005 - 02:19 GMTPanasonic sucks they break bmccooeyUnregistered guest Posted on Wednesday, January 05, 2005 - 16:58 GMTActually, there is a fix for this. It is the spindle. Add a little oil to the spindle and let it sink in. You may want to do a little manual turn to work the oil in. You may have to remove some pieces to get at the spindle, but once you do, fixing it should be a snap. Can't guarantee how long the fix will last though. Just did this myself last night. I'll try your trick and see how it goes. I might use a Teflon based lubricant for the job. That stuff makes miracles. Well many people have spent hundreds on repair or bought a new unit. But i am here to tell you that it is okay to open up your dvd player and mess around in side. If your DVD player comes up with http://www.hardwareanalysis.com/content/topic/55214/ one of these errors the first thing you might want to try is to open up your DVD player by removing the screws on the side and the back (depending on the model), then plug the dvd player into power outlet with cover removed. Stick a disk in and press play and give the disk a little push. Most of the time the Spindle motor is dieing out when you get a H02 error. In this case that little push may get your spindle motor to rev back up back into action. And if your as succesful as me then hopefully you have just fixed your H02 error for free without doing much work. I just got a Panasonic HT95 Reciever/DVD player to play all disks again by giving the motor a little "kick start". If that doesnt work then follow this very useful guide on how to take apart the disk drive in your Panasonic/Denon/Yamaha dvd player, and apply new oil to that dying spindle motor: http://www.crestronforums.org/index.php?showtopic=3 And if anyone has ever expierced a problem with a Panasonic/Denon/Yamaha DVD player regarding one of these problems please post your story and make sure you complain to Panasonic. We shouldnt let them get away with this. I figured this out by reading a message posted by someone on this forum and i wanted to share my story and my expierence with the H02 error: http://www.howtomendit.com/answers.php?id=13096 Adam Kolak Moderator, Hardware Analysis adam@hardwareanalysis.com DFI LP P35-T2RS | Xeon Quad

Search for - code, panasonic, player Thank you all for this advice - i just picked up a free video player Panasonic RV32 and very first time I turned it on, it wouldn't work. It had the H07 code straight away. I spent error code h07 hours trying to muck around with cords (it came without a remote) I thought it was me. Turns out it is the RV32. It didn't help that I recently was given a free wide screen Panasonic Quintrix SR TV also without a manual to use it with. I will try a clean/WD40 lube and report back if it works for me. Excited to have options. Eleyan May 2013 hi ho7 means that the dvd player needs to go Gogegina June 2011 I read all the other posts and was ready to try them but when i opened the casing i plugged the dvd back in. It did the same thing, nothing happened and the ho7 code came up. So i opened the door one more time and then closed it, when it was trying to spin i gave the dvd a nudge and the dvd took off. I turned it off and back on to make sure it was truley fixed and it was fine. I think the gears were just stuck. So before you put lots of oil on your dvd player and run the risk of damaging it more try this. Hope it works. :) Michelle September 2010 I've done this repair twice on our CV52, first time in 2004 and just today. Both times the plastic bushing on the motor shaft has gotten itself stuck. I use the little tube of light machine oil that came with my beard trimmer to lubricate the motor shaft and free up the bushing. I also use a little di-electric grease (found in the sparkplug section of an auto parts sectio

A lot of functions have been coded into dedicated buttons on remote so you don't have to invoke menu if all you want to do, let's say is to review the last several seconds of a scene that interested you.The functionality that really won me over was playback of MP3 and WMA files coming from brand new hardware decoding chip. You can say that a lot of modern day DVD Players can play MP3 files. But what about usability? Most of these
