Powerdvd Error 0100
0100 error Reply to this topic Solution Chosen by Andrew Andrew Newbie Private Message Joined: Mar 07, 2007 06:38 Messages: 9 Offline Solved by Apr 18, 2007 17:25 I have now tried several versions of Nvidia drivers. I cannot get this to work. After updating with the new PowerDVD Ultra patch I now get error 0100, instead of 0103. Advisor reports that my nvidia drivers are not supported and my display is not HDCP-capable. I have tried nvidia drivers: 97.46 101.41 158.18 I am running Windows Vista. I tried Windows XP and I get the same problem. I have an ASUS EN7600GT HTDI (features HDMI port) and a Sony Full HD 1080p HDTV. I just upgraded to an 8800GTS. Now I get all green lights in Advisor and I just started watching Batman Returns on HD DVD. BUT... Sadly there had to be a but... PowerDVD just crashed while playing the movie. It went a bit nuts. In some kind of crazy stutter. Then exited without an error message. Of course this could be down to the beta Nvidia drivers. I will try again. Depending on what anti virus you use, you can create an exception rule, or disable it. Then reinstall powerDVD and it should work. Keep your anti virus disable unless you made an exception rule. I installed the patch from Cyberlink and I still can't get hardware acceleration. I have a Sapphire 2600pro, latest catalyst drivers. When I connect to my display (Dell 2001FPW) w/DVI I get error code = 0100. No luck either connecting to my HLS4676 either. Of course cyberlink has no info on that code. When I connect over VGA I can load an HD-DVD but no hardware acceleration. That's the whole point of this damn series of cards!!!!!!!! I've tried WinDVD too but it is useless. I can finally play the King Kong HD-DVD that came with the Xbox add-on. However, I'm getting CPU usage way higher than should be expected. 50-70% throughout the film. I ru XP Pro on an Athlon XP 3800 clocked to ~2.0

I have a Dell Studio 540 desktop with a ATA Radeon HD 4350 card. I can only get my Blu-Ray to work when I plug it into the Analog input on that card. The only problem is, when I open the Windows Media Center in the full screen mode, the screen is blank. Every thinks works great, even the Media Center works on the smaller screen. When I use the digital plug, Media Center work great, but the Blu-Ray movie starts, then says that I have to use an analog input error 0100, then stops. Dell has sent me a new Hard Drive, Video Card and replaced the Blu-Ray Drive. Still it didn't work right. They even replaced the whole computer with the better video card. No one at Dell can figure it out. There must be one setting were missing. I can use it, but it’s still not right. I need some advice. Thanks Reports: · Posted 6 years ago Top InterPC Posts: 427 This post has been reported. Although it's not ideal you may want to try using a different Media Player and see if the problem still occurs. There can be many reasons why a 0100 error is occurring trying a different Media Player may correct the problem. Reports: · Posted 6 years ago Top rbtmann Posts: 2 This post has been reported. Thanks for the reply. I found that PowerDVD 9 Ultra works well. I called Dell to tell what I had found and after 2 hours of them on my computer, thay said that they would send me the upgrade. I hope that the issue is resolved. RobertMann Reports: · Posted 6 years ago Top InterPC Posts: 427 This post has been reported. That is great news.
