I get the error code: 0110 when I attempt to play any Blu-Ray Disc. The Discs are fine, they work in my friends PS3. I'm positive my system completely supports HDCP. The error apparently relates to my display device being unable to support HDCP? On Cyberlink's BD and 3D Advisor I pass everything except the 'Video Connection Type', which reads 'Digital (without HDCP)'. I have included screenshots of my HDCP status and the error message in full along with my BD & 3D Advisor log. Any help would be greatly appreciated! It's really frustrating not being able to enjoy any of the Blu-ray discs I own! Hi everyone, An issue has recently occured during playback of my blu-ray discs. For some reason, my PowerDVD 11 Ultra will no longer play blu-ray discs of any kind. I have inserted some new ones as well as ones that I have played before. Every time I attempt to play a blu-ray movie I get the following http://www.cyberlink.com/forum/posts/list/18451.page;jsessionid=DB95D63549FA79D3A8E40ACC403C47B6 error: "CyberLink PowerDVD is not able to play the protected content on your digital output device. Ensure your display device supports HDCP. -(Code 0110) Run the BD Advisor tool for more information." I have run the tool and it tells me that I do not have HDCP support. This makes no sense whatsoever to me considering I have played multiple blu ray discs in the past and Ninja Assassin two days ago http://www.howtogeek.com/forum/topic/serious-blu-ray-playback-issue via PC on blu ray? How can I go about fixing this error??? Anyone? Have you tried uninstalling and reinstalling Cyberlink? Reports: · Posted 5 years ago Top Zanghetsu Posts: 53 This post has been reported. Yes, I tried that this morning and tried playing a blu-ray disc again and it produces the same HDCP error as before. Reports: · Posted 5 years ago Top Zanghetsu Posts: 53 This post has been reported. Problem solved. I tried 4 different HDMI cables and connected them from my TV to my desktop. The problem was just that particular cable. Tossed the cable out, started malfunctioning with my Xbox 360 and PS3 as well. When I first started the process of upgrading for Blu-ray, I ran Cyberlink software's BD-Advisor tool, from which I learned about HDCP (I had to buy a new monitor, but it told me that once I had that, a drive and powerdvd error some software everything would be good to go for Blu-ray Playback). I then bought a BD-ROM drive which had Cyberlink PowerDVD8 bundled with it. After installing the drive and the software and trying to play Blu-ray discs I got this- "Cyberlink PowerDVD is not able to play the protected content on your digital output device. Please switch to an analogue output (VGA, D-sub) and then try again. -(Error Code = 0110)" powerdvd error code This seems to me to be a HDCP issue, despite the fact that their advisor tool now claims that my hardware is ready for Blu-Ray. I've been in correspondence with Cyberlink for over a month now about this. First they suggested that my Graphics card might not in fact be suitable, but after contacting Sapphire, they insist it should be fine for Blu-Ray (admittedly its not a HD series card, but it does appear in the 'minimum' recommended spec for Cyberlink's software). They've had me trying everything from clean installs of drivers, to updating my bios, to running earlier builds of PowerDVD8 that might not conflict with my graphics, to upgrading me to PowerDVD9. All to no avail. The really frustrating thing is that when I put a disc in, I get the first few seconds of the studio logos that come up before the disc menu, then this Error 0110 code kicks in and stops playback. Surely this proves my hardware is perfectly capable of playing the discs and its in the software that the issue lies? If anyone has any advice or experience with a similar issue it'd be much appreciated.
