With latest PowerDVD 12 on Win-7 64bit SP 1 I get: - "Catastrophic Failure 8000FFFF" with blue-ray - "Cyberlink PowerDVD does not support the playback of this media format" with dvd What happens? After a fresh install of PDVD I'm able to open a blue ray exactly one time. Stopping the blue ray and starting it a second time or any other blue-ray/DVD I get the above errors. If I create a new user: exactly the same happens as with my regular account. My blue-ray test pieces: Avatar 2D/3D, Alice in Wonderland 2D and 3D, Fight Club. Check of configuration seems to be ok (see attachment). Latest Nvidia drivers, tried different blue-ray / dvd drives. Funny enough: PDVD plays local 2D-AVIs-files even in 3D-Mode on my Nvidia 3d-Vision equipment without problems. Any help? Does this happen with the original disc of TDKR? (If you don't own the original disc, you're probably misusing AnyDVD HD.) Edit: In addition to original disc, please retry with latest updates to both PDVD 12 (build 2625) powerdvd error and AnyDVD HD (7.1.7.0). Post a new logfile either way. Last edited: Mar 22, 2013 RBBrittain, Mar 21, 2013 #2 cfreint Member 7.1.7.0 I tried latest release (7.1.7.0) and got the exact same result. I tried several movies to be sure problem is not with one movie. cfreint, Mar 22, 2013 #3 cfreint Member More on problem With Cinavia option selected, I tried a Blu-Ray disc from before Cinavia was even powerdvd error setup thought off. With the option selected the exact same problem happened. I then unselected the option and rebooted and ran the disc again with NO PROBLEM. Thus selecting the option caused Powerdvd 12 to have the problem for all discs. cfreint, Mar 22, 2013 #4 RBBrittain Well-Known Member Again, did you update PDVD 12 to build 2625? Also post a new logfile. Last edited: Mar 23, 2013 RBBrittain, Mar 23, 2013 #5 NewbieGuy1 Well-Known Member This is the page PowerDVD12 takes me to, even if I choose "no" to "updating".
