I'm a network admin and I've verified permissions and pathways and have tried UNC, IP address, host names, mapped drives, etc. In each instance I can get to a login screen but once I try to login to the company file I get the -6000, -83 error. I've tried updating/reinstalling QB on quickbooks error 6000 304 the server (since there is no way to just update/reinstall the database manager by itself). Anyone know how to fix this!? I suggest to move the data file to a different folder location and re-set up the folder permission. Let me know if you can open the file after moving it to a different folder location.
