Ask yourself what specific information the person really needs and then provide it. Stick to the topic and avoid unnecessary details. Break information down into a numbered or bulleted list and highlight the most important details in bold. Be concise. Aim for no more than two short sentences in a paragraph, and try to keep paragraphs to two lines. A wall of text can look intimidating and many won't read it, so break it up. It's okay to link to other resources for more details, but avoid giving answers that contain little more than a link. Be a good listener. When people post very general questions, take a second to try to understand what they're really looking for. Then, provide a response that guides them to the best possible outcome. Be encouraging and positive. Look for ways to eliminate uncertainty by anticipating people's concerns. Make it apparent that we really like helping them achieve positive outcomes. I'm using QB Pro Plus 2016 in a multi-user setting. The .qbw file opens fine on the server computer, but not on http://www.speaksupport.net/quickbooks/quickbooks-error-6150-1006-error-80070057-solved-2/ the workstation. It shows error codes 6150 and 1006. The workstation computer recently had a new windows 10 installtion and it has been since that install that the error codes appeared. I've ran quickbooks error QB File doctor on both machines and the only thing that showed was that the server computer has Microsoft Security Essentials running and the to add QB Pro 2016 to the exceptions list. I did that and QBFD still shows that as a problem. I turned off Windows Security Essentials and QBFD didn't show any problems. The workstation still shows error codes 6150 and 1006. I quickbooks error code tried opening the .qbw file directly from the file location on the workstation and that also failed. QB file still opens fine on server computer. I checked both machines for CryptoWall virus and both seem clean. 3 comments × Close Why do you want to report this? Spam Profanity Threats/Abuse Inappropriate Virus/Danger Broken Links Other Hello @MontanaGPS , I'd be happy to help. Is this the same case to all workstations? Or is it just happening to one? Have you tried to copying the company file from the server and putting it in the local drive of a station to see if you can open it from there? Any added details will much appreciated. Thanks! Spam Profanity Threats/Abuse Inappropriate Virus/Danger Broken Links Other Sorry about the delay, I had to wait until everyone left the office.  I tried copying the .qbw file to the first workstation and received the same error messages.  I downloaded and installed the software on another workstation, tried loading the .qbw file from the network and received the same error messages.  I copied the .qbw to the local drive on the second workstation with the same results. Â
