Nothing has changed on our server which is 2008 R2 Standard. I've tried every one of the suggestions here http://support.quickbooks.intuit.com/Support/Articles/SLN40226 to no avail. If I copy the company files to the local

I'm a network admin and I've verified permissions and pathways and have tried UNC, IP address, host names, mapped drives, etc. In each instance I can get to a login screen but once I try to login to the company file I get the -6000, -83 error. I suggest to move the data file to a different folder location and re-set up the folder permission. Let me know if you can open the file after moving it to a different folder location.
