Out of the blue no quickbooks error code 6000 77 network users can connect to our company file and they get the dreaded -6000, -83 error. Nothing has changed on our quickbooks error 6000 832 server which is 2008 R2 Standard. an issue with the sharing or DB manager. I'm a network admin and I've verified permissions and pathways and have tried UNC, IP address, host names, mapped drives, etc. In each instance I can get to a login screen but once I try to login to the company file I get the -6000, -83 error. I've tried updating/reinstalling QB on the server (since there is no way to just update/reinstall quickbooks error code 6000 82 the database manager by itself). Anyone know how to fix this!? I suggest to move the data file to a different folder location and re-set up the folder permission. Let me know if you can open the file after moving it to a different folder location.
