have a version of QB 2012 Pro installed on a PC, with 3 company files residing quickbooks error 6144 and 301 on a network server. 1 of the files continually will get the error -6144, -82. When it's happened in the past, I've been quickbooks error -6000,-83 able to restore the company file from a recent backup and it works. However, this time, it's giving me the error on the backup. I encountered that on other clients and a different location works for them. If you like, you can use the new location first to access your file
