If you have no data, there's not much QB can do. However: Found the following on QB forums. While not for your produce (it's for 2005) and not exactly the same message (6000 301), it will give you something to do while you wait for QB tech support: "if your trying to open up your company file & you encounter that error msg., you should just restore your most recent back up. but make sure that it's a good back up. but if your company file is open, resort each & every lists in qb then verify your company file. afterwards rebuild it. then verify it again. if your company file is still open & still has that error msg., press F2 then F3 click on the open file tab then choose a file that says qbwin.log then click on open file. copy everything in the wordpad then paste it in MS word. you would be able to find the error. once you find the error. delete the transaction then rebuild your file."
