What you see is a 0 returned by the API/library that you are using. You will have to check the documentation for that. share|improve this answer edited Apr 8 '15 at 7:55 Irfan DANISH 3,49152346 answered Nov 8 '13 at 15:23 Julian Reschke 19.9k43853 2 IE10 has a weird bug, when receiving status code 401 or 403, it interprets it as status code 0. The server will never return a status of 0 as this is not a valid HTTP status code. In your case, you are getting a status code of 0 because the request is timing out. This itself could be for various reasons, such as the server simply not responding in time or your entire network connection bein

HTTP, Hypertext Transfer Protocol, is the method by which clients (i.e. you) and https://www.addedbytes.com/articles/for-beginners/http-status-codes/ servers communicate. For example, when requesting a page, a browser might receive a statis code of 101, followed by an "Upgrade" header showing that the server is changing to a different version of HTTP. Successful 200 - OKThe 200 status code is by far the most common returned. It means, simply, that the request was received and understood and is being processed.201 - CreatedA 201 status code indicates that a request was successful and as a result, a resource has been created (for example a new page).202 - AcceptedThe
