6, 2007. Guest Guest This error keeps occurring. I have deleted the distribution list and re-created it but to no avail. Any suggestions??? I believe all the email addresses in the list to be valid and did re-create the list http://www.pcreview.co.uk/threads/an-unexpected-error-has-occurred-using-a-distribution-list.2956861/ with the same name. I haven't tried recreating under a different name. I need a suggestion asap. Thanks. -- Cindy Guest, Jan 6, 2007 #1 Advertisements Guest Re: 'An unexpected error has occurred' using a distribution list I https://www.experts-exchange.com/questions/22694561/Microsoft-Office-Word-An-unexpected-error-has-occured-while-in-Outlook.html had the same problem and just now figured it out. My new distribution list did not exist. THAT is when I put the list name in the to field, the OLD list name was coming up (which was unexpected error very similar to the new list name). once I limited it to the new list name, all was fine. Have you created a new Outlook profile? That fixes most issues. If you turn off Word as an email editor, does everything work correctly then? Although I do recommend to clients who switch from POP3 to Exchange to recreate any distribution lists due to the way they are handled in Exchange. Simon. 0 Message Author Comment by:heliontech2007-07-16 I tried multiple different version of changing the e-mail editor with no luck. I wasn't able to come to any other resolution so I just re-created each distribution list. . . Thanks 0 Message Accepted Solution by:heliontech2008-0
