To do so follow the next steps: -- Open Notepad -- copy the following commands net stop wuauserv regsvr32 wuapi.dll regsvr32 wuaueng.dll regsvr32 wuaueng1.dll regsvr32 wucltui.dll regsvr32 wups.dll regsvr32 wups2.dll regsvr32 wuweb.dll net start wuauserv -- paste them in notepad -- On menu, click on File -- select save as -- on box that pops up, find the on save as type box at bottom of box and make sure to select all files -- On File name box at bottom, type update.fix -- add extension .bat to end of name

Mine was in a totally differnent area. I opened regedit, clicked on Edit/Find, and searched for AdvancedInstallersNeedResolving It found it, so I deleted it, then the updated begun working. Debra ·
