So I downloaded the Isengard update, that I paid $50 US dollars for and now I can't even log into the game. I get the LOTRO splash screen and it starts connecting to the server, downloading client, etc. then it goes black and says "Error! Cannot Patch!" and then it shuts down my LOTRO client. I've statred it again, and it seem to update error have found more things to update itself with. I'll let you know if it works. EDIT: It worked the second time. The client/launcher window will download another 240-ish files, and it should work.
