Visual Studio 2010 C# Express SP1 had been working on my computer for several weeks. However, a day or so after installing Windows 7 Service Pack 1 and a number of other Windows Updates, I tried using VS 2010 again and found that it crashed. Somehow, it's entered a error visual studio state where whenever I try to run it, it immediately crashes. I've been trying to get VS 2010 running again on my machine, with no success. I've tried windows restore points, I've tried a repair install of VS 2010, I've tried completely uninstalling it and then putting it back on, but nothing works. No matter what, when I try to run it, it immediately crashes. I've also tried setting it to run in compatibility mode for Windows 7 and running it as an administrator, but that doesn't work either. I'm pretty much out of ideas, aside from reformatting my computer, which I really don't want to do. This is the error I'm getting in the Event Viewer: Faulting application name: vcsexpress.exe, version: 10.0.40219.1, time stamp: 0x4d5f2a6b Faulting module name: KERNELBASE.dll, version: 6.1.7601.17514, time stamp: 0x4ce7bafa Exception code: 0xe0434352 Fault offset: 0x0000b727 Faulting process id: 0xea4 Faulting application start time: 0x01cbfd3eb750369e Faulting application path: C:\Program Files (x86)\Microsoft Visual Studio 10.0\Common7\IDE\vcsexpress.exe Faulting module path: C:\Windows\syswow64\KERNELBASE.dll Report Id: f5d6e0a9-6931-11e0-aa40-bcaec5b628d6 DETAILS ATTACH A FILE EDIT T
