Apr 30, https://community.spiceworks.com/windows_event/show/18879-mr_monitor-111 2013 Comments Poblano Feb 7, 2013 TimCinOR Consulting, 1-50 Employees I found this error is coming from the Intel MegaRAID Monitor. One of the hard drives of the RAID array is throwing the Predictive Failure errors. The Intel RAID Web Console showed me which drive is barfing. 2013-8-19 That hard drive lasted about 2 months, throwing that error every day. The bad news is that I could not persuade that client to let me replace https://community.spiceworks.com/windows_event/show/6677-mr_monitor-96 the hard drive until after it failed. The good news is that it was one of three 1 TB Seagate drives in a RAID 5. I shut the server down, swapped the drive, booted up, the rebuild completed automatically in about 25 hours, and all was good. Now, another drive in that same array is throwing the same error. They are letting me swap the drive this week. Serrano Sep 12, 2014 ZacharyWTrimble Manufacturing, 51-100 Employees TimCinOR nailed this one. Thanks! Add your comments on this Windows Event! Does anyone know what these events mean? A quick Google suggests they're RAID failure, but I can't find a definitive list... (For information, the server has 1 logical disk, 6 physical disks) Thanks windows-server-2008 share|improve this question asked Nov 25 '13 at 13:40 JezB 133310 Have you checked your RAID software to see if there is a predictive drive failure?
