Patch Manager CA Server Automation Components DESKTOP AND SERVER MANAGEMENT Description: Problem Error '1629: Invalid command line' when running ITCM setup. http://support.kaspersky.com/us/4557 Environment ITCM r12.5 Windows Server 2003 Cause This is generally caused by long TEMP and TMP environment variables or when those variables contain another variable on it (%USERPROFILE%\AppData\Local\Temp for instance), causing ITCM setup command lines to fail. Solution: Edit both TEMP and TMP environment http://www.ca.com/us/support/ca-support-online/product-content/knowledgebase-articles/tec545917.aspx variables to point to another folder, if possible C:\Temp. In order to achieve this task log into the machine where you are installing ITCM with the installation user, right click My Computer, go to Advanced tab and click Environment Variables.
