While transferring a large file (>150GB), it hasn't been uncommon to see some sort of hiccup in the connection between my computer and the server. Areca doesn't seem to like this, and refuses to restart the file transfer from where it left off, rather, it will delete the file and start again (even though the FTP server has support for resuming uploads). Here is a log of errors Areca sees when it restarts the file: 14-10-02 07:41 - ERROR java.net.SocketException: Software caused connection abort: socket write error at java.net.SocketOutputStream.socketWrite0(Native Method) at java.net.SocketOutputStream.socketWrite(Unknown Source) at java.net.SocketOutputStream.write(Unknown Source) at org.apache.commons.net.io.SocketOutputStream.write(SocketOutputStream.java:69) at com.myJava.file.driver.remote.RemoteFileOutputStream.write(RemoteFileOutputStream.java:104) at java.io.BufferedOutputStream.flushBuffer(Unknown Source) at java.io.BufferedOutputStream.write(Unknown Source) at com.myJava.file.EventOutputStream.write(EventOutputStream.java:58) at com.myJava.file.archive.zip64.DeflaterOutputStream.deflate(DeflaterOutputStream.java:187) at com.myJava.file.archive.zip64.DeflaterOu
» FTP Status and Error Codes FTP Status and Error Codes Last Year GlobalSCAPE 5 CuteFTP for Windows THE INFORMATION IN THIS ARTICLE APPLIES TO: EFT Server all versions CuteFTP® all versions DISCUSSION During FTP sessions, servers send and receive various numbered codes to/from FTP clients. Some codes represent errors, most others simply communicate the status of the connection. Below are brief explanations for the most common status and error codes. When determining a course of action, review the entire log; some codes are informational only, others indicate that you have entered the wrong information, and others indicate what the information https://sourceforge.net/p/areca/bugs/552/ is that you need to provide before continuing. For troubleshooting CuteFTP connection problems, also refer to Troubleshooting CuteFTP Connection Problems. The table below is provided so that you have some idea whether you can solve the issue on your own (e.g., code 331=you need to provide a password) or you need to call your ISP for assistance (e.g., code 426=you are unable to https://kb.globalscape.com/KnowledgebaseArticle10142.aspx connect to the remote server). These codes are used by most FTP servers/clients. NOTE: The information below is only offered as a courtesy to assist you in telling your Internet Service Provider what the error is so that they can help solve your issue. For example, if you get a code 426, the transfer was aborted and the connection closed. The solution to this error is to "try logging back in; contact your hosting provider to check if you need to increase your hosting account; try disabling the firewall on your PC to see if that solves the problem. If not, contact your hosting provider or ISP." The list below contains standard FTP codes. Numbers outside this list are proprietary to the Server or Client that you are using. This problem has recurred every write error ftp day for five days. Each time I report it Tech Support says they're 'working on it'. Is this problem system-wide, or limited to one server? When this error is reported, is the disk truly full? What will happen if someone purchases files for digital delivery via our shopping cart? The cart software has to copy the files to a web-accessible directory. Will here be any available disk space to copy them to? You must login before you can ask a follow up question. The problem is with the server you are on. There's a point where the server disk space is nearing capacity and causing the issue. If you provide me your primary domain I'd be happy to look into this further for you. As for your shopping cart, depending on how your cart handles the sale of digital media will determine if it is affected or not. Let us know if there's anything else we can assist you with. I look forward to hearing from you soon. Thanks! Tim S You must login before you ca

Maybe something is mixed up. Try to download fresh firmware and start over.(In any case, the configuration must be uploaded as:"put p314.rom rom-0") · actions · 2003-Mar-15 11:47 am · esohierjoin:2003-03-1494370 esohier Member 2003-Mar-15 7:13 pm I was wrong from the file.
