I've tried to burn "less" songs. I've tried both Memorex CD-R, 52X 700MB, 80min-CD's and Sony CD-R Supremas 700MB CD's. The error seems to pop up in the "finishing" stage of the process. Again, I never had a problem burning CD's prior to the time this last fall and again now. Could it be an update problem with iTunes? Can I go backward to the lower version I had before?Janet Helpful (0) Reply options Link to this post by custom mini, custom mini Jan 18, 2012 12:32 PM in response to meuwzic Level 2 (330 points) Jan 18, 2012 12:32 PM in response to meuwzic Just a shot in the dark, but from reading your post I get the feeling that you burn a lot of CD's ? so two questions :has the optical drive been changed or is it the original one ?would you say you have burned 200 or more cd's on this drive ?reply and I'll try some more.custom mini. These can either be bad sectors that have not yet been marked as bad by the filesystem, or your hard drive may be failing. Very rarely, this error may be caused by a bug in Steam.
