Call To Undefined Function Php
in this topic wodfanatic 0 Newbie Members 0 2 posts Posted May 12, 2011 So here is the wordpress problem: PlatfromPro latest ver. installed I have Buddypress installed w/ BP template pack I have disallowed the "creation of friend connections between users" in "BP component setup." After doing this and viewing "Members Directory" page directly below my profile this erroe appears: Fatal error: Call to undefined function bp_member_add_friend_button() in C:xampphtdocswordpresswp-contentthemesplatformbasemembersmembers-loop.php on line 52 also noticed if I have "creation of friend connections between users" enabled I get a double "add as friend" link. I have used the modified css hack for this but is does not work in IE8: #members-list li .action .friendship-button:nth-child(2n) {display:none;} Primarily I would just like a solution for the FATAL ERROR issue. Any help would be much appreciated. Thanks. Not sure why this isn??™t the default way of doing this. undefined function apply_filters() in /home/u126897984/publ Fatal error: Call to undefined function apply_filters() in /home/u126897984/publ nerraw @nerraw 1 month, 4 weeks ago Hi, Today I updated my wordpress website and used the https://wordpress.org/support/topic/fatal-error-call-to-undefined-function-apply_filters-in-homeu126897984publ/ auto update, but this error appeared. "Fatal error: Call to undefined https://wordpress.org/support/topic/fatal-error-call-to-undefined-function-85/ function apply_filters() in /home/u126897984/public_html/wp-includes/load.php on line 317" Please help me fix. Thank you! Viewing 5 replies - 1 through 5 (of 5 total) lauramelos @lauramelos 1 month, 4 weeks ago Hi, It's looks like you have an incomplete update. Here is the Manual Update directions. devplayer @devplayer call to 1 month, 3 weeks ago I've just encountered this error: "Fatal error: Call to undefined function apply_filters() in /home/u126897984/public_html/wp-includes/load.php on line 317" But tracing it , i found that actually , i hadn't overwritten wp-settings.php It worked immediately right after copying it over 😀 Mikel King @vizkr 1 month, 3 weeks ago I've had a similar issue using the call to undefined composer install method => https://github.com/johnpbloch/wordpress/issues/22 Manually installing from wordpress-4.6.tar.gz over the composer files helped but in our case that is not a long term viable solution. Only stating is here to corroborate that the manual fix will keep things going until a patch is discovered. Cheers, m jeffreymlyon @jeffreymlyon 1 month, 3 weeks ago @mikel King Thanks for your help working through this in the GitHub issue queue.
