It will then work after an Apache restart. share|improve this answer answered Mar 29 '14 at 11:23 Jonathan Gurebo 655818 Simplest solution for any linux system. This also works for nginx. –BrainStone Sep 18 '14 at 17:25 add a comment| up vote 7 down vote Your server most like does not have GD (the built in PHP image processing library) enabled. You can check this by looking for "GD" in the output of : If not, check the PHP docs on how to enable it: http://www.php.net/manual/en/book.image.php share|improve this answer answered Jun 24 '10 at 3:12 Mike Sherov 8,55242658 add a comment| up vote 1 down vote It seems that your GD library is not being used. Double check your php.ini file. share|improve this answer answered Jun 24 '10 at 3:11 Russell Dias 28.7k43261

a issue which you can see at: http://moneyclicker5.co.cc/image.php It contains the error: Fatal error: Call to undefined function imagecreate() . I've looked around for a fix with very little help, PHPGD has no download links and the http://stackoverflow.com/questions/3106991/fatal-error-call-to-undefined-function-imagecreate php site that says to do --with comes back saying there is no command . I've put in each php.ini ;extension=php_gd2.dll I have no idea now how an earth to fix it , im running latest CentOS Thanks AllHostOne.co.uk, May 23, 2011 IP mobileappdoctor Peon Messages: 4 Likes Received: 0 Best Answers: 0 Trophy Points: 0 #2 I may be missing something but remove the semicolon in front of the line. Semicolons mean https://forums.digitalpoint.com/threads/fatal-error-call-to-undefined-function-imagecreate.2185743/ ignore this variable which means if it looks like you listed above the GD library is never loaded. mobileappdoctor, May 23, 2011 IP Sefrez Peon Messages: 26 Likes Received: 0 Best Answers: 0 Trophy Points: 0 #3 It still sounds like PHP GD is not properly being loaded. You should not get a fetal error like that for any other reason than when the function is undefined. EDIT: Oh, I believe mobileappdoctor is right. Remove the semi colon. The semi colon is telling that line to be ignored. Posted on 2005-04-06 PHP 2 Verified Solutions 13 Comments 7,622 Views Last Modified: 2011-08-18 Hi all, For a new dedicated server we have moved to I get the following error when trying to use imagecreate(): "Fatal error: Call to undefined function: imagecreate()" (See call to undefined here http://217.112.95.28/player_tools/pt_form_guide.php?id_team=1131&id_league=3) I initially put this down to the GD library not being installed but rpm -U gd-2.0.28-4.i386.rpm exectued from root where that rpm is tells me package gd-2.0.28-4 is already installed. Also php_info(): http://217.112.95.28/php_info.php tell me php was configured with "with-gd=shared". I'm not sure what this means but I assume it means PHP knows about GD. Finally I also added the following line to php.ini: extension=gd.so I can't think of anything else to do, so I would be grateful if you could have a think for me about why this might not be working.
