Call To Undefined Function Json_encode() Php
Hello, I'm using the installation readme as a guide. I've created a database (MySql server call to undefined function json_decode centos version: 4.1.10a) for drupal (and my site). I unpacked the drupal 5.2 package and moved it (and the .htaccess file) into my call to undefined function json_encode() ubuntu site's virtual host directory (apache 2) I'm using PHP Version 4.3.10 on SUSE 10. When I point my browser to my site's main address (like it says in the install readme) I get the above fatal error

I checked to make sure the /includes directory and bootstrap.inc file was present, plus I found on line 305 where session_name() was being called. All present and accounted for. It looks like I'm unable to run the install script. Just to make sure I wasn't losing my mind, I created a small php script with phpinfo(); in it and phpinfo(); prints out the right

It looks like your php installation is missing an essential part (session support). Log in or register to post comments php session support turned off Giuoco commented August 23, 2007 at 11:24am It looks like the default installation of Apache2 / PHP 4.3.10 on SUSE 10 has the --disable-session flag set. I'll have to figure out how to remove that flag without affecting other virtual hosts on the Apache2 install. Any thoughts. I've been reading through docs on php.net, but it looks to be fairly deep in the documentation. This is whats written in main.php: 'session' => array( 'sessionName' => 'Site Session', 'class' => 'CHttpSession', 'autoStart' => true, ), If I'm deleting it from main.php I will get 200OK whenever I try to access these properties(user or session). portmaster www/php5-session If the installation is successful, then we can restart apache. # service apache22 restart or # /usr/local/etc/rc.d/apache22 restart That's it.
