problem is probably associated with one of the plugins. I went into my ftp site and deleted all the plugin folders. Now I'm getting this error message: Fatal error: Call to fatal error call to undefined function wordpress undefined function wp_removable_query_args() in /home/content/e/r/i/ericbatterton/html/wp-admin/includes/misc.php on line 900 Can someone please help? I'm praying this is an easy fix. Viewing 15 replies - 1 through 15 (of 24 total) 1 2 → Moderator James Huff @macmanx 10 months ago Try manually resetting your plugins (no Dashboard access required). If that resolves the issue, reactivate each one individually until you find the fatal error: call to undefined function php cause. If that does not resolve the issue, access your server via FTP or SFTP, navigate to /wp-content/themes/ and rename the directory of your currently active theme. This will force the default theme to activate and hopefully rule-out a theme-specific issue (theme functions can interfere like plugins). If neither of those made any difference, try downloading WordPress again and delete then replace your copies of everything except the wp-config.php file and the /wp-content/ directory with fresh copies from the download. This will effectively replace all of your core files without damaging your content and settings. Some uploaders tend to be unreliable when overwriting files, so don't forget to delete the original files before replacing them. athornburgh @athornburgh 10 months ago Thank you James for the advice. I tried the first two tips you gave but unfortunately I'm still getting this error message when trying to log into my admin page: Fatal error: Call to undefined function wp_removable_query_args() in /home/content/e/r/i/ericbatterton/html/wp-admin/includes/misc.php on line 900 I also tried to update the wordpress app within godaddy but I don't think that's going to work either.

The changed code is as following. post_content); echo wp_trim_words( $content, 100, ''); ?> https://github.com/picandocodigo/List-Category-Posts/issues/34 doesn't work #34 Closed essenceofire opened this Issue Jan 15, 2013 · 16 comments Projects None yet Labels bug Milestone No milestone Assignees No one assigned 2 participants essenceofire commented Jan 15, https://www.facebook.com/permalink.php?id=217978804928987&story_fbid=524098204317044 2013 Plugin was working fine until I updated. Now the page seems to break and nothing is displayed. I am using [catlist ID=11 excerpt=yes template=default numberposts=-1 orderby=modified] If I remove "excerpt=yes" then it'll show "read call to more" links. Otherwise it is completely dead. I am using this plugin on another page as well and if there are no items in the category the page will display fine, if there are items in the category then the page breaks completely. You can see what I mean here Owner picandocodigo commented Jan 17, 2013 Can you set DEBUG to true on your config and tell me call to undefined if there are any errors related to lcp on the debug output please? I don't really get very much what's breaking, but I do see there's no title for the posts, is this intentional? Is it a CSS issue? essenceofire commented Jan 17, 2013 Fatal error: Call to undefined function wp_trim_words() in /home/sites/site162/SITE/wp-content/plugins/list-category-posts/include/CatList.php on line 280 Leaving out the titles is intentional. Owner picandocodigo commented Jan 17, 2013 What version of WordPress are you using? essenceofire commented Jan 17, 2013 3.0.4, unfortunately updating is not an option for us right now. Owner picandocodigo commented Jan 17, 2013 That explains it, the wp_trim_words function came to WordPress on 3.3. I'll see if there's a workaround so you don't have to use an old version of the plugin. essenceofire commented Jan 17, 2013 Great! Thank you! Owner picandocodigo commented Jan 17, 2013 Can you manually install the latest version from the master branch and let me know how it goes please? essenceofire commented Jan 17, 2013 Hmm not very good.
