Ah, I have fixed this thanks to this post http://svn.gregarius.net/trac/ticket/333 Installed the php4-xml port (I'm on FreeBSD) and restarted apache. To see if this is installed, type "php -m | grep xml" at the command line. If nothing shows up, install the php4-XML package. However, my PHP 5.3.3 installation appears to have been compiled with XML support:libXML support activelibXML Compiled Version 2.7.7libXML Loaded Version 20707libXML streams enabledWhat, then, could be the issue? I'm running the installation of FreeBSD 8. The only modification I've made is to move all Open Journal files directly into the web directory, and out of the OJS directory in which they were uncompressed.OpenJournal seems like a great project, and we would very much like to use it to publish our writing center journal.Thank youVicente LozanoSystems AdministratorUndergraduate Writing CenterUniversity of Texas at Austin Top Post Reply Print view 1 post • Page 1 of 1 Return to “OJS Technical Support” Jump to General General Discussion Consulting, Employment, and Volunteer Opportunities Plugin Gallery Open Journal Systems OJS Editorial Support and Discussion OJS Technical Support OJS Developm

NanoBSD? Something else? That error seems to suggest that somehow it didn't get all of the required PHP modules during the upgrade, which I haven't seen any other reports of so far.Or, possibly, some package you have installed did something unexpected to those modules.Or, less likely but also possible, call to undefined you accidentally upgraded to 2.1 and then tried to go back down to 2.0.2, which leaves some other files in place that can make PHP fail to load properly, causing errors similar to this.
